Welcome to the Geospatial Data Catalog - A Collaborative Resource for Geospatial Data

Hi, I'm Rob Johnsen. During my work as a consultant for the World Bank, my team and I frequently encountered challenges in finding, validating, and sharing geospatial datasets. This experience led to the creation of the Geospatial Data Catalog - a platform designed to streamline access to quality geospatial data for free.

The platform aggregates datasets from various trusted sources, making them easily searchable and accessible.

What makes this platform unique is its community-driven approach. Users can:

• Contribute new datasets to expand our collective resources
• Provide feedback on existing datasets to improve data quality and accuracy
• Share insights and collaborate with fellow geospatial practitioners
